The Ubuntu Shopping Alternate Lens is an unofficial alternative to the default Ubuntu Shopping Lens announced by Canonical for the Ubuntu 12.10 operating system.

With this Lens you will be able to shop on the Amazon and Ubuntu One Music Stores. It allows you to filter search results by country.

To install the Unity Shopping Alternate Lens plugin in your Ubuntu operating system, open a terminal window (hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination) and paste the following commands (one by one, hitting Enter after each one):

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:markjtully/ppa sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install unity-lens-shopping-alternate

You will need to restart your session after the installation. This Lens is available only for the Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) and Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) operating systems.
