LINUX GAMING
Aeon Command is a space war strategy game that's now been released for Linux.

A few days ago it was announced that Bat County Games has released Aeon Command 1.0 for Linux. The game is being distributed via Desura on Linux although it looks like the game will also be offered to Steam Linux users in due time.

Aeon Command is described by its developers as, "Aeon Command is a tug of war strategy space warfare game. Play as one of 3 unique factions to help gain dominance over the Aeon Nebula!" It's a game available now to Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X gamers.

More details can be found at AeonCommand.com. It is an indie game, but at least appears to be of good quality, an interesting Linux port, and worthy of a shout-out.
