OpenELEC 3.0 Brings In XBMC 12.1 Frodo

Version 3.0.0 of OpenELEC has been released, which is a Linux distribution with a multimedia bent that is shipping with XBMC 12.1 Frodo.

OpenELEC 3.0.0 is designed around XBMC Frodo 12.1 while other key parts of the Linux distribution's stack has also been updated.

OpenELEC 3.0.0 also introduces an OS image for the Arctic MC001 media center device and the cheap Raspberry Pi ARM development board. OpenELEC is also shipping support for XvBA (X-Video Bitstream Acceleration) for use by AMD Radeon GPUs with the proprietary Catalyst driver.
