The open-source 3D modelling software Blender has a new release out this afternoon and it brings with it some prominent changes.

Last month I went over some of the new Blender features and now as of today there's the official version of Blender 2.67.

Blender 2.67 features integration of the the "Freestyle" non-photorealistic rendering engine the stroke / brush texture access has been unified, there's improvements to the motion tracker, compositing improvements, 3D printing is now bundled as an included add-on, improved node editing, cycles render improvements, Python API improvements, new tools. and much more.

There's a hell of a lot to this new Blender 2.67 release so stop by Blender.org for all of the details.
