The GNOME developers announced a few minutes ago, July 28, the immediate availability for download and testing of the first Beta release of the upcoming GNOME Terminal 3.10 application for the GNOME desktop environment.

GNOME Terminal 3.10 Beta 1 (3.9.90) enables the Nautilus extension by default and enables the menu access key by default, again, as noted in the raw changelog.

Among other changes injected in this first and unexpected Beta release of GNOME Terminal 3.10, we can mention portability fixes, migration fixes, as well as build fixes and cleanup.

We remind everyone that GNOME Terminal 3.10 Beta 1 will be available for testing as part of the upcoming GNOME 3.9.5 desktop environment, which should be released at the end of July.

Download GNOME Terminal 3.9 Beta 1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
