14 DAY TRIAL // Canonical announced last evening, July 29, in a security notice, that a new Linux kernel update was available for its Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) operating system, fixing five security vulnerabilities discovered by various developers in the Linux kernel packages.
These are the five kernel vulnerabilities concerning the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) operating system: CVE-2013-2164, CVE-2013-2232, CVE-2013-2234, CVE-2013-2237 and CVE-2013-2851.

The security flaws can be fixed if you upgrade your system(s) to the linux-image-2.6.32-50 (2.6.32-50.112) package(s). To apply the update, run the Update Manager application or follow these instructions: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Security/Upgrades.
