The Ubuntu Studio 13.10 Beta 1 operating system is the last *buntu edition from the Saucy Salamander Beta 1 releases published by Canonical last week.

Being powered by a low-latency 3.11 kernel, Ubuntu Studio 13.10 Beta 1 introduces a brand new menu structure, a new Settings Manager app with all settings in one place, and a new package called "ubuntustudio-installer," designed to allow users to install Ubuntu metapackages that fit into any desktop environment.
