The GNOME developers announced a few days ago the immediate availability for download and testing of the first development release towards the Gnote 3.12 application.

Gnote 3.11.0 introduces several new features, including an updated boost.m4, a TODO plug-in, the ability to disable spell check per note, a plug-in to export to Getting Things GNOME, and options to disable note and URL autolinking.

Moreover, add-ins has been renamed to plugins, the title has been changed from Notes to Gnote, spell check language is now remembered per note, and tabs are linked to the preferences dialog. More details can be found in the official raw changelog.

Download Gnote 3.11.0 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
