digiKam 4.0 Is Closer To Being Released
Developers behind the digiKam digital camera software for KDE continue piling on new features for the digiKam 4.0 release. The second beta of digiKam 4.0 is now available.
The first beta was released last month of the open-source camera software and it brought new tools, restored Nepomuk support, UI changes, and other improvements.
The digiKam 4.0 Beta 2 brings additional fixes and improvements over last month's beta, but more GSoC 2013 work is still expected to land in the next beta. The hope is to officially release digiKam 4.0 in May.
For those users of KDE's digiKam more information on 4.0 Beta 2 can be learned at digiKam.org.
