By - | Views: 8,850
Planetary Annihilation has some more spit and polish now as they work through their Gamma phase of development, they have recently improved art, the lobby, the AI and more!

Since we last did a video and update on it a lot has changed, so here's a new video of Planetary Annihilation on Linux!

Linux Game-play video

In this video I take on the AI in easy mode on a metal planet, you can see just how far the performance has come as it was silky smooth, even switching from low to medium graphics settings didn't cause a fuss while in-game.

New Stuff
  • AI difficulty setting.
  • Generate the system while in the lobby instead of after starting the game - this is a really needed and welcome change.
  • A brand new look for the lobby and server list, they look really good now.
  • Spectating games has seen a lot of improvements
  • New skins for laser turret
  • New commander: The Imperial Invictus commander - the one I use in the video
  • Multi-Planet starting spots, no more being forced to start on the same planet
  • Masses of bug fixes and performance work

It's looking great since I last played. I'll certainly have to get back into it.
