14 DAY TRIAL // Some news sites claimed earlier that the Ubuntu Phone Aquaris E4.5 smartphone will ship today, February 9. It turns out that the information is completely false, as BQ immediately posted on their Twitter account that the device will be available this week, but not today.
Unfortunately, there is no news regarding the day, but keep on checking this space for the flash sale of the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition smartphone, or if you are that desperate, you can check the BQ store periodically all week. While people are asking on Twitter for how long the flash sale will be live or how many devices will be available for sale, everything is kept secret at the moment.

That's okay, as we will remind you that Canonical, in partnership with one of the major European mobile manufacturers, BQ, officially announced on February 6, 2015, the Ubuntu Edition of Aquaris E4.5, a mobile phone device boasting a 4.5-inch display, a MediaTek Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor running at 1.3 GHz, an 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. Ubuntu Phone will cost €169.90 ($191).
UPDATE: BQ and Canonical announced that limited Ubuntu phones will be available for purchase on February 11, between 9am and 6pm CET.
