It's June 1st, so it is time to get your hands on a new ISO build of the world's most customizable, lightweight and acclaimed GNU/Linux operating system, Arch Linux.

Arch Linux 2015.06.01 is now available for download. The rolling-release distribution, which follows the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle, gets a new installation media with updated technologies.

The brand-new Arch Linux 2015.06.01 ISO image includes all the updates that have been released during the month of May 2015, and it is now powered by the latest stable kernel packages.

As you might know, Arch Linux was one of the affected distribution by the nasty EXT4 software RAID 0 data corruption bug, which has now been fixed in the Arch Linux 2015.06.01 ISO build thanks to the upgrade to Linux kernel 4.0.4.

Of course, we remind existing Arch Linux users that they don't have to download a new ISO image to keep their installations up-to-date. Just run the "sudo pacman -Syu" command in a terminal emulator.

As for those of you who want to deploy Arch Linux on new computers or reinstall your existing Arch installation, you can download Arch Linux 2015.06.01 right now via Softpedia.
