Today, November 29, Jacque Montague Raymer of MakuluLinux has had the great pleasure of announcing the release and immediate availability for download of the final version of the MakuluLinux Aero Edition computer operating system.

MakuluLinux Aero Edition comes after one year of hard work, during which Jacque Montague Raymer published no less than 40 Beta builds. Designed from the offset to provide ex-Windows users with a new home, the GNU/Linux distribution is now based on the long-term supported Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr) operating system and features a highly customized Cinnamon 2.6 desktop environment modified to look like the Aero theme of Windows 7.

"Are you ready for the biggest release this year in the Linux World? Makulu kicks off the 10 series with the release of the Aero Edition, built from the ground up it offers the end users everything they have asked for, a Linux edition that has a similar look and feel to the familiar Windows environment and is ready to use straight out of the box," reads the announcement.
