Fedora Unity Project leader and Fedora AmbassadorBen Williams proudly announce the release of yet another set of updated Live ISO images for the Fedora 24 Linux operating system.

Dubbed F24-20160823, the new set of Fedora 24 Live ISOs or respins if you want to call them that, are now ready for download. They include the Fedora 24 Workstation, Fedora 24 KDE, Fedora 24 Xfce, Fedora 24 LXDE, Fedora 24 Cinnamon, and Fedora 24 MATE, as well as a DVD image that contains only source RPMs.

As usual, these new Fedora 24 Linux ISOs are perfect for those who want to reinstall their Fedora OS or deploy it on new PCs without having to go to all the trouble of downloading hundreds of MB of updates from the software repositories to update the operating system after installation.

"New kernel means new set of updated lives. I am happy to release the F24-20160823 updated live ISOs. As always these respins can be found at http://tinyurl.com/Live-respins2," says Ben Williams in the blog announcement. "Using the updated ISOs will save about 500M of updates after install."

All the Fedora 24 security and software updates are included

As you might have guessed already, the F24-20160823 ISO images were built on August 23, 2016, which means that they include all the security and software updates that have been released for the Fedora 24 Linux operating system via its main repositories until that date. These are now the most up-to-date Fedora 24 Live ISOs.

You can download the new set of Fedora 24 refreshed Live ISO images right now by clicking the link above, but please try to keep in mind that you don't have to download anything if you don't plan on reinstalling your Fedora OS. To keep it updated, simply run the default package manager and apply all available updates.
