Solus 1.2.0.5 is now available for download to those who planned on reinstalling their Solus operating systems because of various major issues, or deploy it on new computers. Moreover, the installer has been improved as well with better support for Intel Skylake processors and Nvidia Maxwell graphics cards, and a workaround for the "scanning disks hang" issue reported by many users. Of course, Solus 1.2.0.5 also includes all the latest software updates, starting with the newest and most advanced core components, such as Linux kernel 4.7.2 (version 4.7.3 is already available), GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) 6.1.0, Mesa 12.0 3D Graphics Library, and Glibc (GNU C Library) 2.24, and continuing with the GNOME 3.20 Stack and PulseAudio 9 sound server.
