Softpedia has been informed by Marius Quabeck from UbuntuFun.de that registrations for the upcoming UbuCon Europe conference for Ubuntu Linux users and developers are now open, along with the release schedule.

We informed our readers about UbuCon Europe, which is the very first European Ubuntu conference put together by a group of Ubuntu members, earlier this year, and we told them that it would take place between November 18 and 20, at the Unperfekthaus in Essen, Germany.

Nothing has changed in this regard, and it now looks like registrations are finally open for those who want to attend the UbuCon Europe event this year, where you'll get two full days of talks from various Ubuntu developers and members of the community, as well as workshops, exhibitions, and demos, and you can see the release schedule for the entire event.

"For the further plannings we opened a registration form where everyone who wants to attend the event should register. There will be fee to attend the UbuCon Europe, but that fee includes food and drinks on both days. While we don't have a fixed entrance fee yet, we can assure that it won't be more than 30€," reads the announcement page.

A conference on Ubuntu users, and Open Source adopters

UbuCon Europe will be all about everything that happens in the Ubuntu world, but there will also be talks about various open source projects, more or less related to Ubuntu Linux. You should register now and participate in the conference if you want to get familiar with Ubuntu, present your Ubuntu-based OS, and learn new things.

Complete information about travel and accommodation can be found on the dedicated UbuCon Europe wiki page, where you'll also find details about those who will provide interesting talks there. You should attend UbuCon Europe if you care about the future of Ubuntu Linux and want to share your knowledge with other members of the community.
