OSVR available on Steam

The co-founders of the Open Source Virtual Reality (OSVR) consortium announced a Steam update that provides support for OSVR content on Steam.

"Steam is an open platform for all developers, and adding support for OSVR further expands the massive content offerings for the millions of gamers on Steam," said Valve's Augusta Butlin.

Unity removes legacy OpenGL support

With the release of Unity 5.5, support for legacy OpenGL has been removed. As Gaming on Linux writes, this means "games built for this popular open game engine will only have access to the modern OpenGL System." This Unity 5.5 release also includes Unity Editor 5.5 for Linux.
