Stilo Is A Pack Of Clean, Minimalistic GTK Themes

Stilo theme

Stilo is a pack of clean, minimalistic, yet stylish GTK themes for the GNOME desktop. It consists on 2 main themes, Stilo and Stiloetto, each with light and dark variations. A GNOME Shell theme is also available.

Both Stilo and Stiloetto use gray with bits of blue, the difference being that Stilo is completely flat and square, while Stiloetto uses a slight gradient for header bars, and slightly rounded corners for application windows, and elements like buttons and drop-downs.

These are Stilo and Stiloetto GTK themes (each available in light and dark versions):

The themes are still under development, so the way they look may change. They require GTK 3.24.6+ and GNOME Shell 3.30+, which are quite new (Fedora 29+ and Ubuntu 19.04 are supported).

The themes may work with older versions, but its creator can't guarantee that they will look the same as intended.

The pack includes Stilo and Stiloetto GTK 2 and 3 themes in light and dark versions, and a GNOME Shell theme.

Installing Stilo

To use Stilo you'll have to build it from source. The dependencies (for Debian/Ubuntu/Linux Mint, Arch/Manjaro/Antergos, openSUSE and Fedora) and exact installation instructions can be found on the theme project page.

If you're not familiar with how to change the GTK and GNOME Shell themes, see this post.
