SSH Tectia Now Supports SUSE LINUX for Enterprise Servers

HELSINKI, Finland and WELLESLEY, Mass., March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SSH Communications Security Corp. (HEX: SSH1V), a world-leading provider of enterprise security solutions and end-to-end communications security, and the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol, has joined Novell's Technology Partner Program and today announced that SSH Tectia supports Novell's SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 running on all IBM eServer platforms.

The new version of the SSH Tectia solution will provide users running SUSE(R) LINUX Enterprise Server 9 with robust, comprehensive enterprise security, including secure system administration, secure application connectivity, and secure file transfer functionality.

On Feb. 16, 2005, SSH announced SSH Tectia support for Linux running on IBM eServer platforms. Together, SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 and SSH Tectia provide a complementary solution for customers to securely administer, transfer files to/from, and authenticate and protect connections to applications running on IBM eServers. With support for IBM eServer and SUSE LINUX, SSH now offers the most comprehensive LINUX support for IBM and other enterprise-class servers.
