Wind River Systems today announced its largest technology update of the year, making significant new products, services and partner announcements.



The company is expanding its Linux solutions, by offering the newest version of the industry's premier real-time OS, VxWorks, and by extending its Eclipse-based development environment Wind River Workbench to work with more platforms including Wind River Linux, MontaVista Linux, Red Hat Linux and more.



The news, coming from Wind River's Worldwide User Conference that kicked off in Orlando today establishes Wind River's leadership role in device software optimization.
