Best Way To Create Your Own Ubuntu

This is something that I have been toying with as an idea - creating my own distribution, based on the Ubuntu core, but making sure some basics that continue to go ignored are covered. In this quest, I have been led down an interesting road of discovery. Here are some of the tools that I think might be helpful, should you decide to take this path.

I have been playing with reconstructor for some time now and I must say, it's pretty good. It does exactly what it advertises, and you can quite literally re-brand Ubuntu into whatever artwork you want. In addition to "re-branding," you also have the ability to select the specific software repositories you would like to have included, add modules (scripts) and change some of the Live CD options as well.
