New SOGo Release

The Inverse Team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of SOGo 1.3.0. This is a major release of SOGo which focuses on many new features and improved stability over previous versions.

SOGo is a free and modern scalable groupware server. It offers shared calendars, address books and emails through your favorite Web browser or by using a native client such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning.

Many improvements were introduced in this new version such as support for groups invitations, the ability to specify which calendar is taken into account when retrieving a user's freebusy, the ability to publish resources to unauthenticated users, SOGo now provides ICS and XML version of a user's personal calendars, the event location is now displayed in the calendar view, added a caching mechanism for freebusy requests, the ability to specify a time range when requesting a time slot suggestion, live-loading support in the webmail interface with caching support and support for displaying photos from contacts.

Moreover, new extensions are available for Mozilla Thunderbird together with a new Funambol connector to synchronize calendars and address books with mobile devices.
