Fuduntu 14.7-7 - Now with Likewise Open!

Fuduntu 14.7-7 has been released this morning as an update for existing Fuduntu users bringing multiple improvements.

The first improvement is a change to the title bar removing the menu icon. It was ugly, and isn't really useful. Right clicking the title bar still opens the title bar menu as expected.
The second improvement is the integration of Likewise Open. Now, you can join your Fuduntu computer to Microsoft Active Directory using Likewise. To join MSAD, update your firewall settings to allow authentication and execute domainjoin-gui as root.
Fuduntu packages are now split into stable, testing, and source repositories, the testing and source repositories are disabled by default but can be enabled by editing /etc/yum.repos.d/fuduntu.repo. Full Story |
