ABLEconf has extended its Call for Presentations deadline two weeks in order to capitalize on FUDcon: Tempe 2011 being a local conference.

While ABLEconf has already recieved many great proposals, it overlooked FUDcon: Tempe 2011 taking place the week after the close of ABLEconf's Call for Presentations. For this reason, ABLEconf is extending the Call for Presentations two weeks: until Saturday, February 6th, 2011.

The ABLEconf presentations committee feels FUDcon: Tempe 2011 represents an excellent opportunity to reach new members of the local community and maybe national and international speakers who will now love Arizona and want to return in two months :).

ABLEconf has already received proposals from companies such as Dell, Local-Motors, Shamrock Foods, Unicon and The Hale Theater. Additionally, exciting topics such as Open Source Cars, FOSS for Business Servers, Business Migrations to Open Source Software, FOSS in Translation, Linux Accessibility for the Blind, Open Source Video/IP Camera Surveillance Camera and PortableApps ( Free Software for Windows ) have already been proposed.

ABLEconf will be on Saturday, April 2nd 2011 at University for Advancing Technology in Tempe.
