It's about lowering the barrier to participation. It's about creating more opportunities to participate in a meaningful way; without having to become an expert in esoteric tools and technologies, or invest years before you can do anything.

It's kind of like wikipedia, really. A million monkeys type furiously in their basements and voila! An encyclopedia is born. Really, it's about lowering the barrier to participation. It's about creating more opportunities to participate in a meaningful way; without having to become an expert in esoteric tools and technologies, or invest years before you can do anything. We need subject matter experts, writers, editors, fact checkers, testers, translators, graphic designers, and we need to give them all an opportunity to participate and create - as quickly and as easily as possible. That's what this experimental hack is about.
