It’s Time for Canonical to Stop Protecting Unity

Canonical privileges Unity at the expense of other desktop environments. All this does is reduce choice for users and inhibit the growth of Unity. It's time for Ubuntu to embrace other environments at the corporate level — not just at the community one.
