Jumping Bean announces the launch of its PHP training courses to meet growing demand for PHP developers in South Africa.

Jumping Bean today (26th July 2012), announced the launch of its PHP training programme, focusing on preparing students for the Zend PHP certification. The training programme consists of three course which will take a developer from fundamentals to mastery of PHP and MySQL.

"With the growing skills shortage, and spiralling costs, of programmers who are proficient in what has traditionally been consider enterprise languages, such as Java and .Net, many businesses are turning toward PHP as a more affordable and sustainable way to build their solutions", said Mpho Moloi, Jumping Bean's training manager.

"Businesses find it easier to source PHP developer and to skill staff up in PHP if they cannot find resources external to the company. The Zend PHP certification is a great way for developers to prove to potential employers that they have the skills they are looking for", Moloi continued.

The courses are:

*PHP fundamentals, for those new to programming, *Advanced PHP training for developer who wish to delve deeper into the object orientated aspect of PHP as well as master best practices, and *MySQL developer training, for developers who need to master SQL and the various technologies PHP uses to access and abstract database access

Jumping Bean hopes that the introduction of its PHP programme will help the South African economy continue to expand despite the growing constraints of skilled programmers.
