In April I installed gitorious for my colleagues, but the installation and the handling of this project were a bit annoying. So I moved our repositories to a new gitolite installation today.

In April I installed gitorious for my colleagues, but the installation and the handling of this project were a bit annoying. So I moved our repositories to a new gitolite installation today. One big different is, that gitolite has no web interface for the project and user management. The management of the projects and members is that simple that an interface is not necessary! The installation and setup of gitolite took only 30 Minutes and not several hours like for gitorious. For our company the gitolite git hosting solution is the best choice!
