Magnolia’s First Major US Open Source CMS Conference to take place in March in Miami.

Magnolia, http://www.magnolia-cms.com, the open source Java content management system (CMS) company has confirmed its guest speakers for the first ‘Magnolia Amplify’, http://www.magnolia-cms.com/amplify-miami, active learning event to be held March 6th-8th at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.

Senior subject matter experts from the Magnolia staff will be so far joined by speakers from the largest broadcasting group in the Middle East; MBC Group, Atlassian; makers of enterprise collaboration software JIRA and Confluence, as well as Florida’s own Manatee County authority: presenting on online service delivery and optimisation in the public sector.

Former Real Story Group (CMS Watch) analyst, Adriaan Bloem will be presenting a session focused on ‘High-Performance and Scalability’ in web environments. Now the Senior Manager of Online at MBC Group, Adriaan is responsible for delivering all online services for the corporation’s 160 million viewers. He also continues to blog about online, web, social, and technology for realstorygroup.com, 42bis.nl, and his own site, offandonline.net.

William Paoli, Web Developer Team Lead at Atlassian will be discussing the company’s experience building “Multilingual Websites, Microsites and Landing Pages” using Magnolia-CMS. Atlassian’s own software products, including JIRA, Confluence, Bonfire and Stash, are now used by over 23,000 large and small organizations – including Citigroup, eBay, Netflix and Nike. William's own work has touched several Silicon Valley start ups as well as Enterprise industry leaders such as Cisco, and Apple.

Florida’s Manatee County will also be providing a practical demonstration of Magnolia’s core Virtual Presence Management concept in action in the US public sector. Matthew Arriaga, Manatee’s senior online systems architect, will be joined on stage by Magnolia CTO Boris Kraft, to discuss how organizations can “Bring More Services to the Web and Improve Customer Experience”.
