Polkit/Policykit is what determines what permissions users have to perform certain operations on a Linux system.

Polkit Explorer allows a user to view the default permissions as set by whatever packages are configured to use Polkit/PolicyKit. The files are stroed as XML and are a pain to read. Polkit Explorer - written in Python - reads these files and presents them in a more human-readable form. Full Story |
