Why I don’t care about the end of Windows XP

There's an enormous amount of hand-wringing in the media about the death of Windows XP. Here's why I really don't care about any of it.

Perhaps I’m just a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to all of this Windows XP drama. It seems like much ado about nothing in many ways. The folks who are now wringing their hands, wondering what to do now that Windows XP is officially dead really have no one to blame but themselves. They made their bed the day they decided to use it in the first place, and then they dug their own technology grave by clinging to it desperately for the last twelve years.
