Qseven i.MX6 COM adds industrial temperature range

Aaeon’s first ARM-based COM — a Qseven-based “AQ7-IMX6? module running Android or Linux on a Freescale i.MX6 — has added an industrial temperature option. We missed Aaeon’s AQ7-IMX6 Qseven COM when it was released with a Freescale i.MX6 SoC back in the second quarter. Now, Aaeon’s very first ARM-based computer-on-module is being offered in a compatible version that offers -40 to 85°C support when paired with a 1GHz automotive version of the i.MX6 Quad SoC. The Qseven 2.0 form-factor COM continues to offer dual-core DualLite and standard Quad options of the Cortex-A9 SoC with commercial temperatures.
