The Debian project has announced that Debian 7.8 has been officially released and is now available for download. It packs numerous security fixes and a small number of important modifications.

The Debian 7.x branch has been around for quite some time and it received eight point updates until now. The next Debian version, 8.x, is still not ready and it's not clear when it is done, although it should be ready in the coming months. Full Story |
