GNOME Chess 3.16 Beta 1 Adds Support for Bronstein and Fischer Clocks

The GNOME Chess app of the GNOME desktop environment has also been updated as part of the GNOME 3.16 Beta 1 release, which was announced by Matthias Clasen this past weekend. GNOME Chess (formerly glChess) is a software that lets users play the game of chess under GNOME and other open-source desktop environments.

The highlight of this release is support for Bronstein and Fischer clocks, thanks to Sahil Sareen, as reviewed by Michael Catanzaro. The first Beta of the forthcoming GNOME Chess 3.16 application adds the ability to copy the PGN (Portable Game Notation) specification to the repository, thanks to Michael Catanzaro.
