Today, we can report that someone managed to build a desktop computer based on Raspberry Pi from nothing but Lego bricks. We have to admit that the PC looks quite awesome from the images posted on Imgur earlier today by the CoderGirl user.

All we known is that the version of Ubuntu MATE for Raspberry Pi 2 is 15.04 (Vivid Vervet) with the MATE 1.8.2 desktop environment, as this is the first and only edition ported to the Raspberry Pi 2 computer board by Rohith Madhavan, a member of the Ubuntu MATE community.

The Ubuntu MATE 15.04 image for Raspberry Pi 2 provides a fully functional computer operating system, and it is currently based on the standard ARM Hard Float (armhf) port of the Ubuntu Linux operating system. It can be downloaded for free from the Ubuntu MATE website.
