Wayland in Fedora 23 Linux Allows for Use of Multiple Monitors with Different DPIs

Fedora Project reported on the progress made for the next-generation Wayland display server that it might be used by default on the upcoming major release of the Fedora Linux operating system, Fedora 23.

Many of the default applications used in Fedora Linux will have support for the new Wayland session on top of the GNOME desktop environment. These include the LibreOffice office suite (as an option) and Mozilla Firefox web browser, both of which being recently ported to the GTK+ 3 toolkit.
