BOSTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The GNOME Foundation today released the latest version of the GNOME Desktop and Developer Platform. Version 2.8 adds greater usability, speed and better internationalization to the desktop environment. "Once again, GNOME has delivered more features and usability, on a predictable schedule," said Nat Friedman, GNOME Foundation Chairman. "GNOME 2.8 provides a comfortable environment in which users can achieve their everyday goals." Users can look forward to:
