Manjaro Is Updating Its Infrastructure, Adopts Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificates

Manjaro Linux creator Philip Müller teased the community with the fact that the entire infrastructure of the Manjaro project will get a much-needed overhaul.

The revamp is expected to make its official debut later this month or in early June, as part of the launch of the next major version of the Arch Linux-based operating system, Manjaro Linux 16.06 "Daniella." In the meantime, the Manjaro devs announced the migration of the site's SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt.

With three preview builds out the door, the final Manjaro Linux 16.06 "Daniella" release is expected to hit the streets in the coming weeks, bringing a whole lot of new features and improvements over the current stable release, Manjaro Linux 15.12 "Capella," which received its eighteenth update pack at the end of last week.
