Chakra GNU/Linux developer Neofytos Kolokotronis informs the community about the availability of a set of new software updates for the rolling distro originally based on Arch Linux.

As you might imagine, you can now enjoy the latest KDE technologies, including the KDE Plasma 5.8.4 LTS desktop environment, KDE Applications 16.08.3 software suite, KDE Frameworks 5.28.0 collection of add-on libraries for Qt 5, and KDE4 support libraries distributed as part of KDE Development Platform 4.14.26.

Apart from that, it looks like KDE's Kirigami 1.1.0 UI framework for developing convergent mobile and desktop apps has been added to the Chakra GNU/Linux repositories, along with Qt Creator 4.1.0 and KDevelop 5.0.2 IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), and Choqok 1.6.0 instant messaging client.
