Introducing P-Brain.ai; A simple Node.js based voice assistant for the browser which makes use of NLP (Natural Language Processing), TTS (Text to speech) & STT (Speech to text) and can quickly be extended using Alexa skills-like plugins.

P-Brain was built as a springboard for other developers wishing to build voice enabled assistants that respond contextually to queries, however Brain can also be uses as a standalone system in a similar manner to Amazon's Alexa or Apple's Siri.

It is destined for the Raspberry Pi but is currently blocked by the fact it is bound to Chrome due to a reliance on Google's voice recognition API.

Work is currently underway to move the voice recognition portion of P-Brain over to PocketSphinx.js which will negate this requirement and allow P-Brain to work in all browsers as well as running head-lessly for portable use (Think the now defunct Pebble core).

If you know a thing or two about Node.js and wish to contribute to this project, please do so via pull requests on our GitHub repo!

Happy tinkering!
