About six years ago, we had a question on the Scribus mail list from someone who wanted to know whether there was an automated way to convert typewriter quotation marks to typographic quotes. In case you don't know what this means, typographic quotes (for example, “ and ”) are sometimes referred to as curly quotes, rather than the incorrect versions on your typewriter (i.e., "). read more
