Through the Looking Glass
In Sam's interview with Hideya Kawahara, creator of Project Looking Glass, they go into the desktop as a metaphor and a new way for seeing the world. The article was written for a Java audience. But keep in mind that this project is GPL'd, contributed by Sun and a community project for L-I-N-U-X. The importance of the article lies in how the desktop is making a strategic and tactical move beyond the current paradigm.
