Adobe re-discovers Linux with Reader v7

Adobe Version 7 Acrobat Reader is now available for Linux - but you have to download it from their ftp server. This is a major upgrade to what Linux desktop users have had in the past.

Fernando writes a nice piece in the Inquirer. I like his work and found this in my inbox this AM.

The link to the ftp site is ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/7x/7.0/enu/.

I tested the product and it works. In fact, it's the best view of PDFs I've had. Still, I recommend you read the article since he's done a good job.
