Distrowatch reports - Presented for the first time yesterday at Linux Tag in Karlsruhe, the much awaited "Live DVD" edition of KNOPPIX 4.0 is now available as a BitTorrent download from several sources. The new version contains over 4 GB of compressed files or over 2,600 packages, including the full KDE 3.4.1 and GNOME 2.8.1 desktop environments, OpenOffice.org 2.0 beta, and the usual array of server, development and multimedia applications. OSDir grabbed some nice shots of this release.
