Strong subscription revenue and a big jump in margins helped Red Hat (RHAT:Nasdaq - commentary - research - Cramer's Take) beat Wall Street's second-quarter earnings expectations by 2 cents a share. The news pushed shares up by $2, or 12%, to $18.51 in after-hours trading.
