While the people that develop for Linux bust their backsides to bring us quality applications, Java developers are supplying us with excellent programs in the meantime.

Ah Java...treated by some as the stepchild of programming languages, it seems to be filling some wide gaps in Linux. While an exhaustive listing would morph into a work of Clavellian proportions, LXer would like to bring you a few that you may find useful.
