The Australian Information Industry Association appears to have decided to educate the corporate world about the use of open source software - but it doesn't want any media present while it does so.

Novell's Paul Kangro, Red Hat Linux's Max McLaren, IBM's Ivan Kladnig and CyberSource's Con Zymaris were among those presenting arguments in favour of open source. On the other side, Microsoft's Martin Gregory put forward the arguments for his organisation's proprietary products.
