Yesterday, I splitted up a machine for virtual hosting & development purposes. I used Xen 3.0.2-2 for it, and everything went well.

The dom0 (the virtual machines within Xen are called “Domains”, and “dom0″ is the domain for the main hypervisor itself) got just 64MB of RAM. On top of that, I created another “naked” Debian Sarge image (plus ntp plus snmp), which I used to make 3 virtual machines à 128MB each. This just left enough free space for the onboard graphics.
