GParted LiveCD 0.2.5-1 ( Gnome Partition Editor ) is a must have Live CD for any Linux User that like to play around with their partitions. This LiveCD worked flawlessly on my test machine. Please read full review!

Well I downloaded the new GParted LiveCD 0.2.5-1 ( Gnome Partition Editor ) today and thought I would review it's main operation. GParted LiveCD 0.2.5-1 basically resizes Ext2, Ext3, FAT16, FAT32, JFS, ReiserFS, Reiser4, NTFS, XFS, and other filesystem formats.

My test machine was my son's Gateway machine with a 100g hardrive that was totally taken other by WindowsXP. This afternoon he is at a birthday party so what a great time to check out this LiveCD.

Bootup of the CD was easy as it boots directly from the CDROM drive. You are first presented with a few text based screens that ask which keyboard and what video driver to use as well as screen resolution and color bit.
