Leading technology vendors extend collaboration on Service-Oriented
Architectures technologies. Signifying the growing interest in and adoption of SOAs, several leading technology vendors, who have been working together to create Service Component Architecture (SCA) and Service Data Objects (SDO) specifications announced key achievements, including a significant increase in industry involvement and advancements in the development of SOA-related specifications and technologies. Red Hat Expands Telecommunications Solutions Red Hat announced the newly created Telecommunications Partner Programme. The goal, to drive awareness and adoption of carrier-grade server platforms and solutions based on industry-standard hardware and Red Hat software. The Telecommunications Partner Programme will deepen Red Hat's relationships with leading Network Equipment Providers (NEPs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), telecommunications Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and operators. It will package new and existing Red Hat capabilities into an integrated platform that can be easily leveraged across the telecommunications ecosystem.
